RadWebHosting
First thing I would check is that the products do not have a custom field configured with "required" tick box.
bananacy
After some troubleshooting, it seems products that have multiple billing options ( monthly, yearly etc) are not working for me, unable to add to cart . I am given option to select billing cycle, but then it says: Please correct the following errors before continuing: The username field is required.
bananacy
I created new products from scratch for testing. One billing cycle option works. Also updated to php8.1 Edited March 19 by bananacy
bananacy
Where can i get support for this? I am on namecheap reseller plan and they can't figure it out. Plans with with more than one billing option cannot be added to cart. I just did a forceful upgrade to 8.9 Softaculous and still same issue Edited March 29 by bananacy
RadWebHosting
You definitely have the Username custom field set or this product is a "VPS/Dedicated" product type, and your orderform template has hidden this input field. Would need to know more details regarding your server module that is assigned for this product where this error occurs. If you provide a link to your WHMCS, we could also assess some aspects of your orderform template.
bananacy
It only happens when i have two payment cycles monthly + yearly (or other), if i only set one , the cart works. That's the only difference. There are no custom fields. I tested logged in and as guest.
RadWebHosting
Out of curiosity, what is the Product Type (Hosting, Reseller, VPS/Dedicated, Other)? Does this issue persist with all order form templates?
bananacy
It's Hosting. And yes all templates and themes. My license is through namecheap, will whmcs support me?
RadWebHosting
Since it's a custom server module, it's likely they will request you to disable all custom files, modules, and templates, so you may want to contact the developer of the module for assistance.
bananacy
I am still facing this problem, even after several updates. Where can i get support? I am running on a namecheap licence and they can't help beyond the basic stuff.
bananacy
Made Progress! If i add a Custom field and enable Show on form, i get a field on front end, i can type in it and then proceed to checkout, no error! So clearly its expecting a field to be filled but i don't get it! only happens to plans with multiple billing cyles
