Domain name suggestions based on keywords or business type?

ABrits

Question

To simply have TLD availability checks based on the exact name provided by the client seeking to register a domain, seems a bit limiting, compared to the various types of "business name generators" out there. Is there a module available, or solution through one of the registrars, that can provide this functionality?

Examples of what I have seen with some business name generators:

1. It shows if the domain name you searched for is available.

2. It suggests OTHER names you have not yet thought about.

3. It suggests other TLD's

I would appreciate if anyone can guide us onto the right track here.

Hello ABrits i read your question and i want to say that my opinion on it is exactly :

Yes, there are domain name registrars and services that provide more advanced functionality beyond simple TLD availability checks. Many domain registrars and domain name search platforms offer additional features to help users find suitable domain names for their businesses. Here are some ways you can find more advanced domain name availability and suggestion features:

Domain Registrars with Advanced Search: Some domain registrars offer advanced domain name search tools that not only check the availability of the exact name you provide but also provide suggestions for alternative domain names and variations. They may offer variations using different TLDs or suggest similar names that are available.

Domain Name Generators: There are domain name generators specifically designed to help users come up with creative and available domain names. These generators use algorithms to combine words, keywords, or other criteria to generate unique and available domain name suggestions.

Domain Marketplace Platforms: Some domain marketplace platforms allow you to search for domain names based on keywords, themes, or business ideas. These platforms often provide filters to narrow down the search results and suggest available domain names.

Domain Name Search API: Some registrars offer domain name search APIs that you can integrate into your own application or website. These APIs can be used to check domain name availability, get suggestions, and more.

Bulk Search Tools: If you need to search for multiple domain names at once, some registrars offer bulk search tools that can save you time and effort.

When looking for the right solution, consider the following factors:

Ease of use and user interface: Choose a platform or registrar with a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to search for domain names and get suggestions.

Domain TLD availability: Ensure that the service includes not only popular TLDs but also country-specific TLDs and new gTLDs (generic top-level domains).

API integration: If you plan to use the service as part of your own application or website, check if the provider offers API integration.

Price and fees: Compare the pricing structure for domain registration and any additional fees for using advanced features. MyMileStoneCard

It's a good idea to explore different domain registrar websites and domain name search platforms to see which ones offer the features that best meet your needs. Reading reviews and seeking recommendations can also be helpful in making an informed decision.
