KevM
Hi you all, I'm new to WHMCS and want to get started. I'm a bit confused right now by all the input here and in the WHMCS Docs. Therefore, I hope maybe one or some of you can clear my mind. Could someone answer these questions? Is it a promising idea to run WHMCS in a Docker Container? I understand that nginx is not officially supported/recommended. However, which tool should I use then to secure the WHMCS Instance? Has anyone tried traefik instead of nginx for WHMCS yet? If so, would this be a better solution? Is there any best practice script or compose file for a WHMCS environment? I have seen this which was created by @leemahoney3 (Thanks for this) but I don't know if I should follow this based on point two. If you wouldn't use Docker - what kind of Server environment would you use? I was thinking of using something like Cloud Server Mieten » Ab 5€ / Monat mit Windows o. Linux (ionos.de) or linode / hetzner. But I'm not sure. I'm looking forward to your opinions, please note that I'm more on the "business side" of the business than the IT side however, I try to learn and grow - so feel free to be detailed. Thanks and Kind regards from Germany, Kevin (aka KevM)
