WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 15, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 15, 2008 I think thats more of a server issue. How do you send the emails? phpmail or SMTP? do you have a SPF record setup in your DNS Zone on your domain?

WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 15, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 15, 2008 Why not test it with SMTP as phpmail does not use the SPF record
dsaunier
Then checking your IP and hostname against spam blacklists may help ? I'd also add a newsletter to your clients and a mention on the confirmation email when they sign up that they should take all measures to make sure emails from your service make it through their spam bloackers / onto their whitelist...
internetbrother
ok where can I get smtp? I use google aps I can't use that smtp also how can I stop some emails from sign up?
brianoz
Of course you can use SMTP even if you use google apps, you just need to think about how to do it a little more! Read the doco on how to stop emails from signup, there are a number of ways, like selecting the tickboxes to not generate invoices or welcomes when they sign up. It's all there in the manual! re your spam problem, it's probably worth communicating with the email people on each host to ask them why your emails are being considered as spam. You should also check to see whether your server is listed on any of the RBLs - http://www.dnsstuff.com provides a very easy way of checking - just enter your server outgoing IP in the RBL check field.
