dsaunier
Hi I am using Enom only, does anybody know how WHMCS behave when a client tries to renew a domain that is already in Extended RGP or RGP status ? Still a lot to test and discover in that great system... Thanks.
chickendippers
I think WHMCS will say that renewal isn't possible because the domain has expired. But I'm not 100% on that.
othellotech
You cannot renew a domain in redemption using WHMCS. The enom API returns a NO, which WHMCS tells you when you try
dsaunier
Enom's API has several ways to renew a domain, the one we use the most is only valid as long as the domain's expiry date is not past, but if it is and the domain is still valid the API has other commands that lets users renew it. In particular a name can be renewed for the same price a few days after it has expired, and such late renewal happens for a lot of clients, but it cannot be done with the same API. My belief is that anything that can be done through our Enom web interface can be done through WHMCS, but I wanted to make sure all such cases are covered ? Thanks.
