Hi Matt,
according to our documentation:

Quote

Domain Management for Clients

Clients receive full access to the management tools from the client area. If the associated registrar supports it, they can perform actions like:

  • Changing or registering nameservers.
  • Changing the domain's lock status.
  • Changing the auto renewal setting or ordering renewals.
  • Viewing or editing WHOIS information.
  • Managing DNS records.
  • Configuring email forwarding.
  • Requesting EPP codes.

For further information, visit
https://docs.whmcs.com/Domains_Management#Domain_Management_for_Clients

I hope this helps.

Hi there,

Do you know what Registrars support this functionality?

To check whether the DNS Record Management feature is supported for a domain registrar, simply visit the following URL and click on the domain registrar in question:

https://docs.whmcs.com/Domain_Registrars

Here you will be able to see if the feature is supported, or not.

I use eNom and Nominet, and enabling this with the toggle seems to make no difference within my client's accounts.

I can confirm that although eNom Registrar module supports the DNS Record Management feature, the Nominet Registrar module does not.

https://docs.whmcs.com/Enom#Supported_Features
https://docs.whmcs.com/Nominet#Supported_Features

However, if you find that the feature is not working with eNom registered domains, then I would suggest that you open a support ticket with us, to allow  someone in our technical support team to troubleshoot this for you.
