Where did you find me reports

I've been going over this blog post and I'm stuck on the making bar reports part. https://blog.whmcs.com/?t=66223

It says I need to add this $reportdata["headertext"] = $chart->drawChart('Bar',$chartdata,$args,'400px'); 

Can someone tell me where to add it where it will stick when updates happen. Or will I have to change after each update?

I see the Client Sources reports page  and I guess it's showing the report for referral locations. But it does not list any of the referral names. Any idea what is not correct to show a page like the one attached for this?
