Possible to change status of all clients who have no services to inactive?

I would like to change the status of all clients who do not have any services, as in it says '0' to inactive because they should not be active clients. This would help us determine as to how many active clients we have.

It is very tiring to have to go through all the accounts monthly and change their status to inactive manually.

Sounds good - Would love them to not be able to login also.

What happens if they come back and want to order something? Can't signup again as the email is already taken - and can't login because theyir account is blocked?

My idea doesn't include for them not to be able to login to their account, but I want to be able to change their status to inactive so we can statistically see how many active clients we really have.

Then we can occasionally send out emails with a special offer to these inactive clients asking them to signup with us again.

I'm using whmcs for hosting AS WELL AS to control access to videos based on product purchased.

I can't find an efficient way to to control access based on an individual product purchased.

Right now I'm using the order table looking to see if they have an active order. However this can't be used for individaual products as the table only contains a refernce to a specific invoice.

The invoice table shows the status of invoice paid or not. But it doesn't show whether the duration of the product or service purchased is still valid.

Is there another way to do this?

Have that trigger the account back to active - but for general day-to-day things.. once they are inactive, their login rights should also be removed.

That sounds like a good argument to me. I agree.

Inactive clients can't login.

Why not simply write a report that gives you a summary count & list of

clients with current products

clients with cancelled products

clients with no products

you can then add it to the user-contributions area :D
