Which does WHMCS use: enom or enomcentral?

Coming form Hostgator:

They tell me to register domain names thru RegistryRocket which is owned by enom.

I registered with enon and they always redirect me to "enomcentral.com" which is what they use for retail clients.

So I have three related registrars: enom, enomcentral and registryrocket.

If I use WHMCS and enom, would this be setting up a different account than I have with enomcentral?

Clear as mud, huh? :?:

It is through modernbill, but you are just setting up an eNom account. It does not matter that it is through modernbill, you get your own login to eNom to manage and register domains. You can then at a later point upgrade to a ETP (enom technology provider) account if you would like.

Well...other than putting money in their pocket.

What is ETP?

Any great advantage to getting enom thru modernbill as opposed to getting Directi thru WHMCS?

I am still trying to learn the advantages/disadvantage of each.

Thanks!! :)

See http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=7126

The biggest advantage for Directi is that you do not have to have as much money to fund the account and the domain registrations are cheaper.

The biggest advantages to eNom is that they have one of the best IPI's in the industry, and Matt is working on making SSL certificates available through them. If you do some searching you will find all kinds of information on the subjects.

Just ask if you need any more help.
