Rick67
Coming form Hostgator: They tell me to register domain names thru RegistryRocket which is owned by enom. I registered with enon and they always redirect me to "enomcentral.com" which is what they use for retail clients. So I have three related registrars: enom, enomcentral and registryrocket. If I use WHMCS and enom, would this be setting up a different account than I have with enomcentral? Clear as mud, huh?
Brett
You will need to get a reseller account through eNom which is different than your eNomCentral retail account. If you go through http://modernbill.com/domain-resellers/ you can get a good deal.

Brett
Right, but he was asking about eNom. I do agree though that Directi is a very enticing deal.
Rick67
RE: If you go through http://modernbill.com/domain-resellers/ you can get a good deal. But this website is not Modernbill and I do not have a Modernbill account so this offer is of no help. I saw the DirectI deal thru WHMCS. Are there any other deals out there that I should also consider? Thanks,
Brett
It is through modernbill, but you are just setting up an eNom account. It does not matter that it is through modernbill, you get your own login to eNom to manage and register domains. You can then at a later point upgrade to a ETP (enom technology provider) account if you would like.

Brett
Well...other than putting money in their pocket. Yea, but who else can you sign up through to get an $8.49 eNom reseller agreement? Thats why I say till you can upgrade it to an ETP
Rick67
What is ETP? Any great advantage to getting enom thru modernbill as opposed to getting Directi thru WHMCS? I am still trying to learn the advantages/disadvantage of each. Thanks!!

I am still trying to learn the advantages/disadvantage of each. Thanks!! See http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=7126 The biggest advantage for Directi is that you do not have to have as much money to fund the account and the domain registrations are cheaper. The biggest advantages to eNom is that they have one of the best IPI's in the industry, and Matt is working on making SSL certificates available through them. If you do some searching you will find all kinds of information on the subjects. Just ask if you need any more help.
PPH
We use and prefer Enom due to the management and the lack of trouble we have had in 3 years. Support isn't fast but is available and helpful. But the question is "Were 3 threads necessary for basically the same subject?"
Brett
We use eNom and have nothing but top notch support. As PPH said, please do not spam the forums by creating multiple topics. We all browse these forums under all subjects, so it is silly to create multiple topics.
JofleyUK
I would agree Brett, I have been with Enom now for ages and it certainly beats Tucows thru Heart internet any day as I am having a deal with them at the moment over domains not auto renewing. Shuda transferred them to enom ages ago.
