Cart and Google Conversion Tracking

I'm currently utilizing the cart integration instead of the single order process, when using a credit card gateway after a successful transaction you're returned to the viewinvoice.php page when using the "redirect to gateway" option. This makes it impossible to add any conversion code tracking post-sale.

Because of this I don't see anyway to setup conversion tracking when using the cart system. Wouldn't it make more sense after a successful transaction to be redirected to the complete.tpl page instead, or am I missing something?

Currently, if it's code that has to be shown on screen in the users browser - ie. output something - you must place it on the order confirmation page template file. This is displayed before payment.

With the next version, it will be possible to have code run only after payment for the order has been completed - which will allow any conversion tracking system such as the Google Analytics or third party affiliate systems to be used much more easily.
