.dk domain always returning unavailable

We are using standard WHOIS lookup (unmodified dist.whois.json and no custom whois.json) and .dk is always returning unavailable. 

The admin area whois lookup (admin/whois.php) returns the correct result.

Using telnet from the terminal on the WHMCS server returns correct result as well (so can't be a firewall issue etc)

What do?

Please @brian! you're our only hope. 😰
