Weird Client Entry Issue

I'm just starting to work with WHMCS, and have come across a bizarre issue.


When entering a new client, somehow the account is being setup with an email address other than what I entered into the email field. Not only that, but when I try to edit the profile so it is accurate, the email address will not change.


Has anyone come across this before, or have any ideas?
