hsojhsoj
I use WHMCS to sell domains via enom and host websites with Plesk on amazon lightsail. I am wondering how other people are setting up the DNS records for customers. I have to manually take the DNS information out of plesk and then put each line individually into enom, this sucks. How are you guys doing it? Are you running your own name servers, or have you found an integration with something else to automate this? steven99
Two methods used here, either via plesk's DNS options or via powerdns that the dns manager from modulesgarden handles. Which is used depends on if plesk is used at all. For your setup, you might be able to use the Plesk DNS slave extension and replicate to public nameservers and keep the Plesk nameserver as a hidden primary. You just need two VMs in different locations with bind running and set those up for one to replicate to the other and for the plesk extension to replicate to the primary of the public nameservers. Plesk DNS -> Primary Public DNS -> Secondary Public DNS would be the replication path. Then you just set domains to use the public nameservers and set the DNS template's NS records to also match those public nameservers.
