Support Tickets Not Logging

Why would my Support Tickets Mail Import Log only log support tickets that are sent via email client like Outlook 2003 or from webmail but not support tickets sent via the support ticket links on my site? The support tickets either way are received and showing Open.

I suppose I was unclear on exactly what the log is for. I assumed the website sent the message via email too but now looking at the URL of any support department, WHMCS is using (and only I'm guessing) PHP to pass the tickets into the departments.

 

I suppose my main purpose in posting was to see if I might have done something to screw up my log. But if not logging support tickets through my website is normal, then I am relieved.
