Vyndar
Hello everyone, it's my first time posting a thread here. Running WHMCS on CentOS 7 VPS server. We encountered a weird issue that caused a 3 day downtime due to it. For some reason the 24h cron stopped working properly after the update, the cron itself runs okay but the process remains which leads to MySQL getting spammed with requests which eventually leads to a crash. There is absolutely nothing in any log files. We tried the following: Yum update Reinstalling MYSQL + Extensions Different PHP versions (7.2, 7.4 etc) Disabling Firewalls Checking file/folder permissions We never had any issues with Crons before, this happened after the latest update. I don't know what else to look at if you have any suggestions I will be more than happy to hear them :)
maxalerator
Did you managed to solve this error? I'm experience the same issue. Thanks a lot...
WHMCS ChrisD
@maxalerator thanks for your post, firstly, have you checked to ensure you meet our Minimum System Requirements? Additionally, if you run the cron from a server terminal window with -F all -vvv after this, do you receive any further error details?
