How to change directory references after moving to new server

Recommended Posts

I moved my WHMCS install from my reseller hosting account to a separate account so that my support portal won't be down if my resold accounts are down. I followed the instructions in a YouTube video, and it seemed to work fine until I tried signing up a test account. The system logs say "impossible to create the root directory" and it references the directory on the old server. I'm also having some cron jobs fail because they're referencing the old directory file path. Everything is correct in the config.php file, and in the "System URL" under General Settings.  Where else do I need to change this file path? The references are to /home/mycpanelusername/whmcsdata where "mycpanelusername" is the only thing that needs to be changed. I'm thinking that maybe the reason that didn't get changed is because Softaculous creates the whmcsdata folder in the root directory on install.

Thanks in advance for any help!
