Tampa Posted October 6, 2020 Share Posted October 6, 2020 I have been using a gateway fee plugin for a while to tailor the fees better to the actual fees incurred by the various gateways I use, unfortunately said plugin seems abandoned and does not function properly anymore. I would fix it myself, but unfortunately it is not open source and the developer seems to have no intention to release the plugin as such. The current issues with the plugin cause notifications of invoice change to be sent every time someone views the invoice, equally when it comes time to pay them it seems the fees are not properly transmitted to the gateway and sometimes the payment only includes the products without the fee attached. The plugin does not need to do much, just apply a percentile fee to an invoice depending on the selected gateway to be used, update should the customer change the gateway on checkout and recalculate if the invoice is changed in any other way.
