With TLD integration in v 7.10, do I still need the ResellerClubMod

I am fairly new to WHMCS and am thoroughly impressed with it. It basically replaces three apps that I previously used to manage my business. I saw the new TLB import feature in WHMCS 7.10 and updated primarily just for that feature. I connected to my ResellerClub account and it quickly imported the domains I had selected to sell.

I had hoped to find a more user friendly way to simply manage domains than ResellerClubMod RC & LB Tools v.2 . After updating and importing my TLDs with the WHMCS 7.10 TL feature, I'm left wondering whether I still need the ResellerClubMod RC & LB Tools v.2.

I've read all the documentation that I can find about the new WHMCS LTD management feature but am left unsure if that is all that is needed in order to sell ResellerClub domains on my site. Using just the WHMCS TLD feature connected to ResellerClub, will domains be properly provisioned, paid, etc. without the other ReselleClubMod addon?

Thanks.

they should be - once the TLDs are setup/imported, then it's just a case of optionally auto assigning the TLDs to one the resellerclub registrar modules.

with regards to uninstalling, i'd be tempted to keep it there for nwo - for a couple of rasons...

  1. it includes other tools that you may find useful in the future - and most of them won't be available in WHMCS itself for the foreseeable future.
  2. there is already a bug in the WHMCS TLD Importer/Syncer for Resellerclub and a hotfix has been released...

... it's possible other bugs will be found over the next few weeks.
