Password reset link redirect to a page not found

Recommended Posts

Hello Guys!

Password reset link sent by email redirects to a page not found.

This is what I see in the URL .../admin/%7B$pw_reset_url%7D

This is what I have done so far:

  1. I cloned the six template and only modified a few things in the styles.css file.
  2. I verified the pwreset.tpl file and it was empty, but I read that file is no longer in use.
  3. I verified my PHP version and it is 7.9.1
  4. I verified my PHP memory and it is 64M, but System Health Status says "PHP Memory Limit
Your PHP memory_limit value 64M is low. WHMCS recommends at least a 128M limit, however, your value is higher than the minimum required 64M"
  5. I also changed Friendly URLs  to Full Friendly  Rewrite

This is what I have not done yet:

  1. Install the SSL certificate

Any idea of what needs to be done to make it work?

Hello,

Is this for the admin or clientarea password reset?

If it's for the client area it should certainly not be pointing to your admin URL. First check to ensure that your WHMCS URL is set to your WHMCS root.

Have you tried the six template as well as your cloned template?
