Frankenstein
Hey together, we got a little problem with our WHMCS - we moved it to another space and also domain. In the database i already changed the domain and much more stuff which includes the old name, but if we try to reach the new domain, its rewriting itself after few seconds to the old one. Anybody know where its configured? Thanks
WHMCS ChrisD
@Frankenstein we provide some steps at https://docs.whmcs.com/Licensing#2._You_obtain_your_license_from_your_web_host just to check have you tried disabling your .htaccess to ensure that you have prevented any conflicts? Are you able to get into your admin area and Setup > General Settings?
Frankenstein
Disable/remove the WHMCS cron jobs from the old server to prevent automation from running and making changes. check Take a backup of your database following these instructions, check Make sure the new server meets the system requirements, check Transfer the files across to the new server. check Restore the database via phpmyadmin on the new server and make any changes to the database settings in configuration.php. check You'll then need to re-issue your license as described above. check Login to your WHMCS admin and update the system URLS in Setup > General Settings. i cant - its rewriting account.mydomain.tld to account.myolddomain.tld - i cleared my firefox/computer cache - but i still cant access admin interface 3 minutes ago, WHMCS ChrisD said: have you tried disabling your .htaccess to ensure that you have prevented any conflicts? I didnt have one yet ^^ So yeah, their is no .htaccess thats can conflict.
