How to pass the overage bandwidth usage and disk usage data to WHMCS database?

When I read this overage billing article:

https://docs.whmcs.com/Disk_Space_and_Bandwidth_Overage_Billing

>Native support is included for cPanel, Plesk & DirectAdmin modules using the values returned from the respective control panel API's but this feature can also be used by developers with their own control panels passing usage data direct to the WHMCS database.

But in the WHMCS documents there is no related article to introduce how to `passing usage data direct to the WHMCS database.`

How can I pass usage bandwidth to the WHMCS database? and which database should be insert data?

So, who can help with this?

Weird. It used to be in the appropriate function here: https://github.com/WHMCS/sample-provisioning-module/blob/master/modules/servers/provisioningmodule/provisioningmodule.php

But it appears to have been removed... WHMCS devs really should put that back in!

Can check the Plesk module's usageupdate function to see how it works (plesk_UsageUpdate) here: https://github.com/plesk/whmcs-plugin/blob/master/plesk.php
