How to keep sidebar in cart area minimized by default

Hi. I have been trying to keep sidebar minimize by default without click the toggle button. I try to use the following code in /templates/mytemplates/header.tpl but still have not been able to do it. 

{assign minprimarySidebar true}

{assign minsecondarySidebar true}

By default, I would like to show as follow:

is this a commercial  custom template, or modifications you've made to Six ?? on the homepage, there are no sidebars shown by default - you should only see sidebars in the cart or client area.
