LukeN
Hello WHMCS community, this is my first post here so go easy on me! ;) I currently run a Squarespace site, I believe the path of least resistance to efficiently running a store-like model is to utilise WHMCS on a separate Linux environment and use external links from the Squarespace site pointing to a subdomain (i.e. panel or client). Would this model work? Could I utilise Squarespace slightly better or should I move to a different website hosting provider with better integration? Maybe I should host WHMCS and a new website from the same Linux environment to avoid having to use Subdomains? Would really appreciate a discussion around this to fuel some of my ideas. Thanks all :)
WHMCS ChrisD
You could certainly do this @LukeN You can setup your products in WHMCS and then use links to each of your products that pushes them out to your order pages in WHMCS https://docs.whmcs.com/Linking_to_WHMCS Theres certainly no issue having WHMCS running on a subdomain say my.mysite.com or billing.mydomain.com a lot of people do this and if you already have a website you are happy with then I'd recommend sticking with that 🙂
LukeN
Thanks @WHMCS ChrisD ! I ended up going down the route of ditching the Squarespace idea and ended up running a cPanel server on CentOS with DigitalOcean, I plan to utilise an index page or two and then rely on WHMCS to power the rest of the site 🙂
