PixieLinxie
Hi all, I need some guidance please. I've never installed whmcs in a local environment before and am running into some license issues. I'm currently running XAMPP and have installed ioncube as well as the CA Cert. Originally the dev license was issued to an online testing environment and I've had it changed for localhost, but I still get the Invalid License error (even after double checking the license is correct). Below is the information I've given to support... is it correct? (I've obviously not put my actual public IP here, but did provide it to support) Dev Client Area URL: http://localhost/whmcs Valid Domain: http://localhost/ Valid IP:[ My public IP] Valid Directory: D:\web\whmcs What am I missing / doing wrong?
PixieLinxie
Problem solved I logged a ticket with support and it had to do with the IP showing as IPv6, so that was added to my dev licence and now it works 🙂
