peaceharbor
I set up Facebook, Google, and Twiter social integrations for the client login page. and they do work fine, with one exception. All three throw an Error 404 - Not Found page when you connect your social media account. If you hit the back arrow, it actually loads your account page, logged in and everything ready to go. For whatever reason, when you click the social integration it loads this URL: https://domain.com/%2Fclientarea.php. Notice the %2F is added for some reason. causing the page to load the Error 404. Any ideas?
WHMCS ChrisD
@peaceharbor %2F is the URL Encoded for / under Setup > General Settings > System URL do you happen to have a double slash in your System URL? I'd recommend re-going thru the Sign-In Integration instructions at https://docs.whmcs.com/Sign-In_Integrations checking call back URLs ect
peaceharbor
I don't have a double slash in my System URL. Also, I set up my social integrations following the WHMCS tutorial and double-checked them. Everything is set up correctly. Still have the issue.
WHMCS ChrisD
Are you using the default six theme? Is this affecting all three social sign in providers
peaceharbor
I was using a child theme for Six, and disabled it and activated the Six parent theme. Works like a charm.
WHMCS ChrisD
@peaceharbor that indicates your child six theme is out of date 🙂 Updating it to match the default six theme and applying your customisations should help
