Client Profile - Product - Login to cPanel error

Recommended Posts

When attempting to login to a clients cpanel interface from WHMCS nothing appears to happen with a "... Working ..." pop that never completes. See attached

cpanel-error.png.cf5ee90a77865cb30d43a68f04272b25.png

When I view the apache log on the WHMCS server I see the following two entries when I click the "Login to cPanel" button:

MYIP - - [19/Jul/2019:15:43:53 -0700] "POST /whmcs/admin/clientsservices.php HTTP/1.1" 500 153
[19/Jul/2019:15:43:53 -0700] MYIP TLSv1.2 ECDHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256 "POST /whmcs/admin/clientsservices.php HTTP/1.1" 153

The cPanel server has been added to WHMCS correctly using the API Token method, and I am able to access the WHM/cPanel page using the "Login to WHM" button.

This error seems to have occurred after upgrading my WHMCS server from version 7.0.2 to version 7.4.

Hi @cdonahue

Thanks for your post on WHMCS.Community, are you seeing a pop-up blocker in the corner blocking the connection?

I can see based on the logs is it calling out to the right place, do you get the issue in different browsers?

If you open Google Developer Tools Console then try to click Login to cPanel do you get an error in there?

I've tested on Chrome, IE 11 and Firefox with the same results

I don't see any popups

In Chrome it shows one error message in developer console:  POST https://whmcs.hostable.com/whmcs/admin/clientsservices.php 500 (Internal Server Error)  scripts.min.js?v=5c7ed7:4

From a browser I am able to login to the cPanel interface directly using the users credentials listed in the WHMCS product tab.
