Has anyone set up Support emails using a G Suite account?

We are currently using  POP/SMTP for our incoming and outgoing email for our Support Ticketing.

We have our main domain with Google (G Suite) and would like to use out main domain, but the set up fails - so we are currently using a 2nd domain in our old fashioned Cpanel.

It's quite common for users to want to use Gmail/Google Apps to send emails. They can sometimes have problems configuring it correctly, the following is a known good configuration:

mail method --> SMTP
PORT 465
host: smtp.gmail.com
Type: SSL

Per this thread if you are experiencing connection/auth issues, have them try using App Passwords in gSuite under Sign-In & Security then App Passwords
