No email is sent

Tip, just like in tickets you should keep subjects different.  So creating two threads for each question would be better as you may get more interest for one than the other.

Are emails for other items, like invoices, sent?  Did you test his by doing a forgot password request and checking the mail logs (if you have access)? 

As for splash screen, describe more as by default you should get a page that has a search for domain and services listing.
