SanderTDG
Hi there folks! I would like to have a custom order form template developed for WHMSC. My goal is to resell ActiveCampaign email marketing software on our website using a WHMCS module, but have to order form landing page look just like ActiveCampaigns pricing page (with slider and all). A bit more information about the current & desired situation: 1) I would like to use this module to import & sell & collect payments all the ActiveCampaign pricing plans on our own website directly to our visitors (so we don't have to advance all the costs, we can have customers pay us first and then pay Activecampaign afterwards): https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/3467#reviews 2) However, in the current situation, this module would show 84 product variations to our visitors to choose from because of different plans, subscriber counts, features per package, etc (a bit much). You can see how it looks here: https://clients.getmogul.com/cart.php?gid=9 3) I would like to have it look like to ActiveCampaign pricing page (with 4 packages, a slider for subscriber count, and available prices + features automatically adjust): https://www.activecampaign.com/pricing/ 4) The developer of the ActiveCampaign reseller plugin (GetMogul) told me i should have a custom Order form template developed for WHMSC. I found that there are already some templates available, but I believe none of them really do what we want. More information: https://docs.whmcs.com/Standard_Order_Form_Templates My questions are: a) What's the best way to achieve our desired situation? b) Is there anyone who can help us out with this? c) How much would this cost approximately? Hope to hear from someone and ofcourse a happy new year :) Kind regards!

I found that there are already some templates available, but I believe none of them really do what we want. More information: https://docs.whmcs.com/Standard_Order_Form_Templates without resorting to using a custom orderform, I think the only way to do this though existing templates might be to split the products into 4 groups (Lite, Plus, Pro & Enterprise) and use the Universal Slider for each... but I guess there are 20+ products in each category, so even the universal slider template would have to be modified. it's worth adding that these standard templates are all 3+ years old... standard_cart has been kept reasonably updated (though still contains bugs), but the rest are more or less as they were when launched... I doubt we'll see any new templates until v8 in the summer 2019. 5 hours ago, SanderTDG said: a) What's the best way to achieve our desired situation? a custom orderform template might be the way to do with this - though unless desperately urgent, I might suggest waiting until v7.7 comes out of beta, just in case WHMCS make changes to the cart that could interfere with any custom template... I guess it's unlikely, but they have an annoying habit of introducing new untested undocumented features between the final beta and the general release. 5 hours ago, SanderTDG said: b) Is there anyone who can help us out with this? you should get a few replies to the thread from the "usual suspects" (I could almost tell you who they will be lol!), but I would suggest that you also contact theme developers from the Marketplace too... there are very few custom orderform templates available, so it's a quite a niche skill... you could try contacting RactStudio to see if they do custom work (I don't know whether they do or not) - they've designed orderform templates in the pas and are available in Marketplace. additionally, choose a designer that's been around for a while and you expect to be around in the future - there's no point paying someone to design a stunning template that works in v7.6, only for v7.7 to kill it (or more likely v8) and the designer once paid goes missing - this template would probably have to be updated for every major WHMCS release (and possibly minor ones too)... so there will be an ongoing cost. 5 hours ago, SanderTDG said: c) How much would this cost approximately? even approximately, no one will publicly tell you that here. 🙂
