Hello Folks,

I am new to WHMCS panel administraion and all of sudden our WHMCS SSL got expired and Email stops working through template created on WHMCS.

Let's say, we have a option to "reset & sent password to user" over email does not works or invoice to the customer is not going on email from WHMCS.

I cheked activity logs and it shows below error.

Email Sending Failed - SMTP connect() failed. https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/wiki/Troubleshooting (Subject: Ditt nye passord hos)

Can someone help me to resolve this error. i tried to check everything but no luck.

Regards,

Marius

Hi @Mahipal

From within your WHMCS Admin panel if you go to Setup -> General Settings and then select the 'Mail' tab what are your current settings.

I'm going to guess that you are using the SMTP option with SSL enabled but your WHMCS portal is not able to connect to the remote mail Server.

I would just double check your details and try changing the SMTP SSL Type to 'None' and try again.
