cPanel hosting and dedicated IP

I have a hosting package, managed by WHM/cPanel, which include a dedicated IP.

Tha's right: I configured it in WHM, assigned a number of free IP to the server, configured and gained the WHM package to the WHMCS packages.

Almost everything is working right:

• the user order this package
• WHMCS creates it and send the command to WHM to create it
• WHM creates it and assign to it a free IP

Almost everything works fine but...

The issue is that WHM assign the IP, and WHMCS doesn't "know" what is the IP assigned from WHM to this domain.

So the field "Dedicatep IP" in WHMCS remain empty; we need to check it and fill it manually.

It's annoying and far from being error-proof, but we're almost sure that we missed something in configuring this kind of service, and that must exist any sort of mechanism to do it automatically... 😕
