webhostingpadinc
Hello, We are using eNom as our registrar and have hundreds of TLDs in WHMCS with billing terms of 1-9 years. With the current system, in order to update the pricing for these TLDs, we are required to click on each domain's "Open Pricing" button and then manually inputting the pricing for each billing period. With the large number of TLDs and billing periods available, this is not something we can do manually each time the pricing of a TLD changes or a new TLD is added. We were previously using eNom Pro, but this module addon has been broken since last year and the developers have abandoned the project. We found another module addon for eNom pricing, but this module addon does not work for us and we cannot use it. The "Bulk Pricing Updater" still requires us to go one domain at a time due to different pricing for each TLD and the lack of multiple year options. Is there any way to bulk update domain pricing from eNom or the eNom API automatically or semi-automatically? Is there any way to implement a hook to perform this task or part of this task? At this point I would even accept "import from .csv" for the domain pricing since it would still be faster than the current system. Does anyone know of a way to make this process a little easier to manage? Any help is appreciated.
brian!
you could use the Hexonet Importer to import a .csv domain price list into WHMCS... https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/1658 you would have to get the .csv into the format/layout that the addon module is expecting, but you can download a sample csv file from the module.
indieben
We shouldn't have to be using third party modules for this functionality (that link doesn't work now). Either WHMCS doesn't have a clue about the needs of Webhosts or they do it to get as much money as possible given how time consuming it is to update 500 prices. I sympathise wholly with the OP. It's a bit more than a coincidence in my opinion given that WHMCS have even released a bulk pricing multiplier tool but they won't allow for the first year pricing manually entered to calculate the 2 - 10 year pricing from it and there's no native CDF import functionality. Here's a related post with the amount of requests for it over the last decade referencing other posts. https://requests.whmcs.com/idea/add-configurable-options-to-bulk-pricing-updater Edited February 15, 2022 by indieben
