Moving hosting accounts to a new server

Recommended Posts

Hell all, I would like to ask.

We are migrating from a dedicated server to google cloud and we are running WHMCS 7.4 and Plesk onyx 17.8.

Our biggest concern is about the sync of hosting acounts.

We can install Plesk on google cloud and do a plesk to plesk migration with no problem. But, what happens with WHMCS?

We know that we need to change the admin / pass in the server config in WHMCS. As I recall WHMCS is working with IDs in the database and if we do a plesk to plesk migration it might change stuff in the database in the target server.

So my question is, is it enough to just move customer accounts to different server and change the admin / pass in server config in WHMCS or is there anything else that we need to pay attention to?
