hpham
As stated on subject, I just found out today. I assume they should not. We have fraud orders everyday, and even changing their status to Inactive, putting their emails to the blocked list, they still try to login client area, to change their information, to attempt to make new fraud orders with new info. That wastes our system resources, times for checking. Is there any other once notice this?
chickendippers
It's only the actual order that is marked as fraud and not the client. I must say you have some pretty determined fraudsters, ours don't both logging in. However we've disabled the Client Signup Email so they don't know that they can login. Perhaps this is something that needs looking at?
hpham
hmm... just saw another thread about this http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=3398 It seems this is a new feature since v3.2. However, why not putting more statuses like suggested? Current - active, good standing Pending - pending activation Inactive - on hold (customer still able to login) Canceled - terminated, closed (customer not able to login, after 12 mo. inactivity) Banned - blacklisted, never reopen
dexus
Yes, I agree, this is strange. I have to agree that maybe inactive clients should be able to login to be able to order again, but there must be at least one more option for inactive client that can't login, for example "closed" or "canceled".
othellotech
Client records marked as "Inactive" shoudl not be able to login - if you're can then raise a support ticket.
