'Login Details Incorrect' when logging is as client from Admin screen

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem ive been having on the latest version of WHMCS.

I was running my installation of WHMCS in the default 'whmcs' folder up until around 4 weeks ago. I decided that i wanted to run it in the root directory so following the documentation here - 

 Once i'd moved the installation and reissued license I found that the 'Login As Client' button from the admin screen no longer works. It just takes me to the front end saying 'Login Details incorrect'. If i move installation back to the original folder it works again?

Has anyone come across this?

This definitely doesn't sound right, are you using a custom theme or admin theme at this time?  Did you update your site URL under Setup > General Settings

Nope, no custom anything. Yeah I’ve updated the URL, reissued the license etc but still no luck
