gei
This does not seem to be mentioned anywhere, but if you have any .io domains with eNom and you manage them with WHMCS, there is no possible way to renew them automatically. The *only* way to renew a .io domain with eNom is to manually enable auto-renew in the eNom client area. To make matters worse, the auto-renew feature has to be enabled *3 days before* the expiry date, or the domain will disappear. Not knowing any of this (and quite frankly, how would you), we had a client with a .io domain that is now lost. The renewal date was Jan 10th and he had auto-renew enabled via WHMCS. The invoice was generated and paid on the due date, but by that time the domain was already gone from our eNom profile, since auto-renew was not enabled in the *eNom client area* by January 7th. A completely absurd scenario. Here is eNom's well-hidden reference to this: https://help.enom.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003483288-Auto-Renew-Only-Domains What all this means is that there is no practical way to automate the renewal of .io (and other) TLDs with eNom via WHMCS and I would avoid selling them altogether.
