Create a custom module for whmcs 1.7.2

Alex Maluquer

Question

Hi!

I've Multicraft Module, and on client area, appear "Login to Multicraft".
image.png.d6a849109b53f6d8fb825bfefeca1fa2.png

I want edit that text and add a button, and custom informations.

On last versions (5.3), you create a file named "clienthome.tpl" on Module folder, and add a custom texts you want.

How you can do it in WHMCS version 1.7.2 or heigher ?

Best regards, Alex

1.7.2? You mean 7.2? Pretty sure 1.7.2 won't even run in today's modern environment

The templating from 5.3 was drastically changed in 6.x , so you can't simply use the same methodology. It won't work

I'm going to violate my own policy and point to a WHMCS doc here, that should help you get started.

Take a look through that documentation on themes, it should provide you quite a few working examples of what you need to do to get the theme updated
