Iceman
Be careful using Dreamweaver when editing some of the templates. See my post here: http://forum.whmcs.com/showpost.php?p=22486&postcount=9 Cheers, Paul
bear
I use Dreamweaver but have tag autocompletion off. I also have rename form elements (when copying/pasting) and a few other choice items disabled. Without those, it's safe to use with the tpl files. As for Notepad, I've found on some occasions it will add in Windows line breaks which can damage scripts. Best to get a good text editor and remove all doubt, IMHO.
neobug103
I use Rapid PHP 2007, best editor ever created by man. If you want a free php editor, then go with pspad, just as good.
congkai
i found out the problem i used cuteftp to edit. damn. once edited, YOU CAN NEVER UNDO OR JUST UPLOAD THE BACKUP HOMEPAGE.TPL you have to have a backup of whole WHMCS restored. i did 5 tired before i know whats going wrong. its cuteftp editor fault. everything works fine if i used notepad.
