nitaish
Lots of customers want to sign up for 5 years and 10 years hosting which is not possible as WHMCS allows to set prices for only up to 3 years for hosting orders. For some customers we have to create manual invoices and have to keep a track of the orders which becomes difficult. It would be great if there can be an option to add 5 years and 10 years pricing in the hosting product setup. If not possible for WHMCS developers, then may be some third party plugin can work.
brian!
that's a long requested feature... 4 Years ago - https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/ability-to-add-more-billing-cycles-than-3-years 3 Years ago - https://requests.whmcs.com/topic/add-hosting-for-10-years-like-a-domain I think the usual length of time for a feature request to be completed by WHMCS is around 4 years (i'm not joking!), but who knows if/when they would add the option... i'd be surprised if the feature was added to v7.3+, so you're probably looking at v8 which will be available later next year. the only addon that springs to mind is ModuleGarden's Recurring Billing Extended For WHMCS, but that uses fixed-length contracts to extend the product billing length.

Has this been fixed or is it still "pending"? PS: The search functionality in the documention seems not to work...
brian!
Has this been fixed or is it still "pending"? "fixed" would imply that WHMCS think it's needs fixing - but they see it as a feature request, therefore it's in the pending tray... and no ETA will be given... it could be next month, could be two years away - there's no way to know until it arrives (or they even begin to hint at an imminent arrival).
nitaish
Looking at the number of years this Feature request is pending indicates it might never get implemented. Imagine a company creating an add-on for this issue and making lots of money from it.

brian!
Would you be able to fix it, or even make an addon out of it? it's possible to do it, but it wouldn't be high on my priority list to do - your best bet is to post in Service Offers & Requests and you'll get replies from interested developers. That might be the only way to get WHMCS move faster with development if a module existed, they'd probably push an internal solution further down the development queue!
