Android App Notifications

Is WHMCS planning ever to update the Android WHMCS app again?

I'm using this I think for two years now, and since it's a subscription today, it has never changed or improved. This is exactly what I was afraid with a subscription (stagnation regarding development, why to bother if they still receive the money...). The app is not a one time purchase anymore but a yearly subscription and yet it has received basically nothing new so far.

Example, many folks seem to have asked why there is no phone notification build in (today every single app has notifications...). Having to create an email notification for every new ticket on WHMCS and then having to check that and then the Android app seems not only annoying, but I'm considering not using it anymore. If I have to use a regular email account to get notified, I can just use the mobile WHMCS as well to reply to tickets.

I do like the Android app, and it's faster than launching a browser and since its using the API is also works even if you have your admin side with IP restricted which is even more valuable on the go with a phone where or roaming.

But not having native Android notifications seems like a big omission here from WHMCS. You should build native Android notifications at least for new orders and new tickets as well ticket replies.

NOPE --- almost 5 years they haven't updated it so it's safe to say the money that we are paying them will never be spent on any kind of mobile development -- the apps are garbage and they don't seem to care
