A problem with SIX theme ( Close ticket button does not work )

Recommended Posts

Hello there guys ,

I'm currently using the SIX theme on my WHMCS . I can close the tickets from my admin panel and it's fine but when a client clicks the close ticket button it does not work .

If the ticket url is : site.com/viewticket.php?tid=320470&c=0hiug3ox when client clicks on the close button , it changes to : site.com/?tid=320470&c=0hiug3ox&closeticket=true but that link shows the first page of my WHMCS and the ticket is still open.

I'm using the 7th version of WHMCS and the SIX theme . Is this causing a problem ? If yes how can we fix it ?

Regards ,

It's a fresh installation really and I only installed a theme on it . The theme I'm using is not in English . Can translation cause this behavior?

Also which file is responsible for how the close button functions ? Is the url I posted correct for closing a ticket ?

Hey there again ,

It seems this links works for closing the ticket : viewticket.php?tid=320470&c=0hiug3ox&closeticket=true

But my theme close button is set to this link : ?tid=320470&c=0hiug3ox&closeticket=true

Where can I change that ?

it shouldn't do - but if this is a custom theme, the problem may lie with the theme itself (or your settings) and not with the language choice.

if you look at your WHMCS site using the default "Six" template, does the close button work then? (you can view your site, using the "Six" theme, by adding ?systpl=six to the end of the URL).

depends on the theme - if it's old, then it might be in the viewticket template; if it's newer and/or based on "Six", then you might need to use an action hook similar to the one at the end of the first thread link above.

if the close button link works on "six" but not your custom template, then you might need to contact the developer of the theme for a fix.
