Custom Fields Issue on Orders

I recently upgraded to 3.4.1. Since, when customers submit orders I get whatever they entered in the first custom field as the text in all of the following custom fields.

For example, on my order form I have about 10 custom fields. Customers enter the name of their website in the first custom field and then go on to fill in other information after that in the other custom fields. However, when I get it and when I tested it even when I click on Click to Continue at the bottom of the page, the next page is supposed to show a summary of what the customer entered in the custom fields but instead it takes whatever was entered in the very first custom field and it has that text listed for every custom field under it.

How do I fix this? There is a lot of info in the custom fields that I am not receiving because WHMCS is overwriting the subsequent ones with whatever was entered into the first one.

Please help!

I only have 4 custom fields and I have this problem.

I have the custom fields setup for ordering a game server. Whatever is selected for the Data Center will be written in all the remaining fields. Obviously this breaks the ability to do automated orders using custom fields.

  • WHMCS CEO
I looked at the database table the other day and I think it only supports 8 custom fields or 8 configurable options, not sure which it is...

Neither - there are no limits on custom fields or configurable options.

The issue reported originally has now been corrected - if your in urgent need of the updated file, just open a ticket requesting it.
