benbahadir
Hi to all, We have a WHMCS v6.3.1 website with a compatible theme but we are afraid that site can give errors if we upgrade our version to 7.1. We reached to our developers but they said no future plan for upgrading this theme to v7.1. So is there anyone who can help us with this issue please? Or do you think we can do it by manually what instructions i should follow, i know a bit coding and can make changes on the files. Thank you,
brian!
I think the first thing to do, if you got your WHMCS license direct from WHMCS themselves, would be to open a ticket with them and get a free developers license... that will then allow you to have a test installation where you can install both v7.1.2 and your v6.3.1 template, and see if they're compatible. if so, then you're good to go; if not, but it's just the odd quirk, then you might be able to solve it with instructions; if it's a total mess, then that's when you'd need to get a developer in. if/when that time comes, you should post in Service Offers & Requests and request developers to contact you - but I wouldn't throw money at the problem until you can decide how big an issue you have.
