jin
Is there any way to get the widgets to stop moving on their own because you minimized another widget? Is there anyway to move the widgets to the place the user wants and they don't move once there? The new admin in 7.1+ is nice but all this automatic moving around and not being able to place the widgets were I want is driving me a bit nuts. It would be nice to have a little of the old function of being able to place the widgets were I want them
brian!
to get them to not move, I suspect it would require a tweak to scripts.min.js as it will likely be js that is refreshing the widget positions... AFAIK, nobody has posted how to do that with v7. three further thoughts on this... 1. for those widgets that you've minimised, you could modify their weighting in the widget code to move them to the bottom of the homepage - then only the ones you want to see will be at the top of the page. (thought potentially a WHMCS auto-update might break that). 2. WHMCS have previously announced that... We will be adding additional functionality that allows hiding and moving widgets in a future 7.x release. that's translatable as meaning it might happen tomorrow, or anytime in 2017.. or 18. 3. you may want to take a look at the Lara Admin Theme - that has moveable / resizeable / deletable widgets and remembers their positions.
