HostCops
Yes, I'm new to WHMCS and find it challenging and at times one can chase the tail around trying to resolve oddities. testingfor.xxx and comes back with testingfor.com is available https://myaccount.hostcops.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=register&query=testingfor.xxx Suggestions, what to check for or is this a ticket issue for WHMCS?
brian!
Yes, I'm new to WHMCS and find it challenging and at times one can chase the tail around trying to resolve oddities. that feeling never goes away. testingfor.xxx and comes back with testingfor.com is available https://myaccount.hostcops.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=register&query=testingfor.xxx Suggestions, what to check for or is this a ticket issue for WHMCS? it's not a ticket issue as it's working correctly. the important point to remember is that clients (new or existing) can only search for TLDs (.com, .net etc) that you have added prices for in your Domain Pricing setup... otherwise they'd be in the bizarre position of being told a domain is available, but they wouldn't be able to register/transfer it as WHMCS doesn't know how much to charge them! e.g if you search for 'whmcs2018.co.uk' on your site, it will tell you that it's unavailable - in reality, it is available for registration, but because you haven't added pricing for .co.uk, WHMCS won't try to sell it to the customer. I doubt that the documentation specifically mentions that you need to add pricing to a TLD before you can search for it, but you do - so for every TLD that you want to sell, you'll need to add it to the Domain Pricing page.
HostCops
Hey Brain! Thanks, yeah.. done that funny thing is sometimes it shows both the .com and .xxx but try again and .xxx goes away. https://snag.gy/G7XoSr.jpg I submitted a ticket, seems something is beyond this setting.
