wpsaver Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 Hi everyone, I am trying to offer a 30 day free trial, except I don't want to use the 'free trial' functionality rather I would just rather use a normal recurring product subscription. The problem I got is, the promotional code does not get applied on to the recurring subscription for some reason. It says: "The promotion code you entered has been applied to your cart but no items qualify for the discount yet - please check the promotion terms" Does anyone know how to resolve this? Posted February 5, 2017 Share Posted February 5, 2017 if you aren't going to use the FT functionality, then I assume you would want to use a one-time discount ? e.g let's say the product is $10 per month and you want to give a 100% discount for the first month... after that, they will either pay the full amount or cancel the "trial". if you're getting the above message, then I suspect the promotion code isn't correctly set - perhaps specifying the wrong product and/or billing cycle... screenshots of the setting for this promotional code might prove useful. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
