Affiliate Program and different currencies

Hi, I think it's better to ask on forums before I create a ticket.

Maybe someone else had the same issue.

We are using two currencies USD and RUB. USD is main.

One of our users reported a small annoying bug.

Then you active affiliate program as a client with RUB currency on the main page you will see next text:

"Your current commission balance is ₽0,00RUB. You only need another ₽25,00RUB before you can withdraw your earnings."

It does not convert correctly on the main page and just showing dollars amount, but then you move into affiliate page you get next text:

"You will be able to request a withdrawal as soon as your balance reaches the minimum required amount of ₽1.512,31RUB."

The affiliate program is important for us, and it's not nice then clients are confused.

thanks for that - can you create a couple of screenshots for this error

i'm assuming the first is a homepage panel and the other is the affiliates.tpl page, but if I could see what you're seeing, then it would help me to see if there's a bug or not (from your description, possibly with a homepage panel).

thanks for the images - as I thought, the problem seems to lie with the homepagepanel and it not multiplying the payout amount (or balance to it) by the exchange rate of the client's currency... looks to just be using the amount from the affiliate configuration and then wrapping it in the client's currency.

FWIW, i'd consider that to be a bug and so your best bet would be to report it as a bug to WHMCS... if they confirm it as a bug, they might be able to give you a quick fix or at least add it to the next release (though I don't know when that will be)... with the code that creates these panels being encrypted, it should be easier for them to fix it.

I could write a hook that would fix the panel (rewrite the body of it), but it would need to recreate everything, e.g query db tables, do the calculations etc from scratch... relatively simple to code, just time-consuming to test! :)
