temak82
Hello, I see this issue going back all the way to 2012 without much of a resolution. I also see this module here: https://www.whmcs.com/appstore/2530/Auto-Accept-Orders.html but when you click on More Info, it gives a 404 error. The problem we are having is during our test run, when placing an order, we have 2 packages. Package 1 is setup to be activated upon receiving of first payment Package 2 is setup to be activated as soon as the account for the new client is created since it's a trial. Now, when we go through the order process, everything seems to be working up until the point when the order should be set to Active by the system. This last step does not happen and we have to manually change it to Active, then our customer can login to their account and begin using the subscribed service... Am I missing something here or is WHMCS just doesn't have this ability to automatically set new packages to Active? You can reference this old thread here: https://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?49686-whmcs-auto-accept-order-after-1st-payment It's the same issue that we are having. Thank you for your help!
brian!
perhaps take a look at WHMCS Order Assistant addon - it states that it performs a similar function of auto-accepting paid pending orders.
temak82
Thanks for the pointer Brian. I wonder why WHMCS doesn't build this into their software so it's a native feature. Seems like it makes sense...
