mrprez
How do you set this up on the PP end of things? They want an API account name. Where is that? John
ChuckB
Make a name, it'll append your domain - once you get that setup, it'll give you the rest of the details needed for PPP in the WHMCS config.
mrprez
I got it figured out. I had to create a new API Key. I couldn't figure out where to get the signature from. Now what about the Calls. Did you setup Express Payment? I didn't think that would be needed. Thanks, John
mrprez
Well, my payments went through, 3 out of the 6 posted to WHMCS all 6 had the CC#s erased. Nothing but error codes, invoice not found. What a disaster! The PPPro would give a success message and the right after that a PayPal Error saying Invoice not found. What a nightmare!
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 14, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 14, 2007 Invoice not found is the correct response in the gateway log - all callbacks for Website Payments Pro payments will show that and it is the correct response for it. mrprez
Why is the CC number deleted if the payment was approved? I got a success on the credit card charge. PP no longer requires the CCV number as set in the Risk Controls. This makes this payment gateway a viable one for recurring payments.
mrprez
Fortunately, I had made a backup of the db just yesterday and was able to restore the lost CC #s. John
